Uppercut Deluxe Texture Cream is, without exaggeration, one of the best grooming products I have ever used. I’ve tried more styling creams, clays, pastes, waxes, and pomades than I care to admit, and nearly every one of them has involved some kind of compromise. Some products offer great hold but leave hair feeling stiff and unnatural. Others create texture but become greasy after a few hours. Some look good initially, then completely collapse before the day is over. This texture cream somehow manages to deliver everything I want without any of those frustrating drawbacks. The first thing I noticed was how effortless it is to use. The cream has a smooth, workable consistency that spreads easily between the hands and distributes evenly through the hair. There is no tugging, clumping, or frantic race to apply it before it hardens. You have enough time to shape and refine your style until it looks exactly right. Whether I apply it to dry hair for stronger texture and definition or work it through slightly damp hair for a softer, more relaxed finish, the result is consistently excellent.

I was looking forward to this, but was very surprised by the smell for a men’s product. I would not ever buy something that smells like this. Not trying to be rude, but this smell reminds me of my mother or aunt. I won’t use it.

I recently let my hair grow out and struggled with a good product. This one allows all day flow and also some restructure later in day. Not greasy or heavy.
